Hope everyone is having a good GW1. The FPL90cents squad is at 65 points (twice the site average), 124,508 rank with three players left:

What excites us about FPL however is the chance to hone our decision-making and get rapid, systematic feedback to improve further - something not so neatly available in real life. Where could we have done better (and gained a new decision technique), PLUS where did we did do well even if the results weren't great? So it's not a simple reflection process, and involves (Slowly) getting better at being honest with ourselves; and being clear-minded.

Hence that earlier article about the 4 urban myths of FPL, and our criticism of how people were getting Salah because he's too popular a pick and the costs are too high. That's not a performance-based decision, and one that leads to "reverse-differential" points! Congrats to those who got Ekitike/Gakpo instead! We think our Wirtz blank is not a mistake (for now). And we will later post where we think our mistake lies - how we could have avoided Watkins even without hindsight!).
