• A great player purchase is not a static decision about how good the player is, a dynamic one about (a) whether it's the right time to buy the player, and (b) what are the alternatives?
• Hence this regular overview to efficiently think through the landscape of choices and considerations. E.g. it's a good time to consider these 4 key zones where both fixtures and quality are green, before looking elsewhere:
  • Brentford/attack
  • Brighton/attack
  • Stock up on more than one Crystal Palace player (if not yet)
  • Consider one more Manchester City pick after Haaland (in particular O'Reilly, notwithstanding a slight minutes risk as he's played back-to-back 90 minutes)
